My name is Charles T. Nightingale, but please call me Tom. Take your time looking around this ever-changing site and feel free to contact me if you have any questions or needs. Here's a little bit about me:
I grew up in Latham NY, went to Shaker High. From there I attended SUNY Albany and graduated with a Bachelors in Political Science and a minor in Women's Studies. While in college, I was an EMT on campus, (5 Quad EMS) and I was also a DJ for the Campus Radio Station, (WCDB 90.9) When I was a Senior, I started to work at The Cheesecake Factory. I ended up working there for 10 years, on and off. During that time, I completed an associates degree in Electrical Construction and Maintenance at HVCC. This allowed me to become an Electrician and have a greater understanding for how homes are wired and built. In 2009, I purchased my first 2-family property in Pine Hills, which is somewhat of a student area in Albany. It has treated me well and it allowed me to begin selling real estate in 2012. The first few years were not easy, but I knew that if I just kept at it, it would lead to success. 2016/2017 and 2018 have been solid years in the real estate business and I can't imagine doing anything else. Being a Realtor has allowed me to help a bunch of my friends purchase their first home. This, in my opinion, is one of the biggest steps that a person can take towards being financially free. Selling multi-family properties is one of my specialties and I mention it to everyone I work with. In my free time, I keep in touch with a core group of friends whom I've know since college. We all have a certain level of political awareness and have worked in or currently are active in that field, so it is always a great time. We meet up at local craft beer bars once a week or so. We also try to meet up for Karaoke about 2 or 3 times a month. Our group of 15 to 25 people has some of the best Karaoke talent in the Albany area. It's pretty incredible, haha.
